~ How to use the rest of this Website ~
This site provides a Hub of useful Science Links.
These have been chosen as useful "jumping off" places
. . . . . . . here's a fun website to try: Elephant's Toothpaste
Instead of downloading huge quantities of stuff, be selective!
- Choose the topic you want.
Choose the right level of information.
Copy and paste information into a document and save it.
Before leaving a site, check out any links pages.
You will often find extra helpful information there.
- Just because something is on the World Wide Web, it is not automatically good or reliable! You need to be as critical of a website as of any other information.
- Acknowledge the source of your information in project work. This shows the extent of your research and a way of saying thank you.
[If a site is marked as "copyright", you should not re-publish any part of it without the owner's permission. If you explain what you would like to do and ask for permission, you will generally get a yes.]
